Tropicalypse

Tropicalypse is a singleplayer game where you must survive as long as possible on a zombie infected beach.

At the end of the zombie movie the last survivors always manage to finally get to an isolated island. But guess what? That island is as infected by zombies as the rest of the world (if not even more!). And that is where you, the player, enter the game. Having just set foot on what was supposed to be your tropical paradise, you must take the role of the last survivor. Navigate the beach and kill every zombie you see, using only your trusted harpoon gun.

Survive as long as possible and kill as many zombies as you can before they overwhelm you! And remember to aim for the head!

Tropicalypse was made in 48 hours during Danish game jam "Indie9000" in June 2013. The theme was the randomized "Tropical Blade Anarchy". Our focus was mostly on exploring the possibilities of storyboarding animations.

"Let's find us an island some place, get juiced up and spend what time we got left soakin' up some sunshine!" -John, Day of the Dead
